Author Bio

Oyindamola Dosunmu is a writer and HR professional whose work explores womanhood, autonomy, and the emotional interiority of Black women within contemporary culture.

Her debut novel, Your Tomorrow Was Today, was a Gold Medalist in Multicultural Fiction at the 2026 IPPY Awards, won the Women’s Fiction – Feminist Fiction category at the International Impact Book Awards, and was named a Finalist in both the Black Lawrence Press Immigrant Writing Series and General Fiction at the 2026 International Book Awards. The novel also earned a nomination for Best Fiction at the 2026 Astra Book Awards.

A portion of the author’s earnings supports Safe Haven Foundation, a Nigerian nonprofit providing shelter and advocacy for survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
